Analysis-Driven Product Solutions

Thermal analysis is often an essential element to effective heat transfer solutions that can be used to justify design decisions. At Thermal Space, we offer a complete set of analysis capabilities to ensure our designs achieve compliant and optimal performance. In many cases, numerical modeling of heat and material balances offers insight into subtle effects of a complex system. In other cases, analysis guides application of general design equations to provide an effective, low-cost solution to an inherently reliable design.

Thermal systems have many dynamic components that govern reliable design development. For example, the effects of large temperature gradients can result in mechanical stresses that render a system either unstable, ineffective or even lead to failure. Transportation of high or low temperature fluids, such as steam or liquid nitrogen, require special consideration in the design of the piping and tubing networks. Our analytical capabilities include modeling and calculating thermal effects for mechanical assemblies, as well as fluid transport networks.

In the cryogenic realm, an often overlooked analysis is the effect of radiation on the heat-transfer system. Thermal Space offers detailed heat-transfer modeling across the entire temperature spectrum, ranging from liquid-helium systems to high-temperature combustion furnaces.
